Pistol & Rifle Fundamentals

Our Fundamentals level I Pistol or Rifle course is tailored for experienced shooters looking to elevate their skills to the next level. This semi-intensive training program focuses on refining marksmanship, enhancing tactical proficiency, and preparing participants for more complex scenarios and real-world self-defense situations.

All levels of advanced weapons implementations and use are born from the perfection of what is referred to as the fundamentals of marksmanship. Although these specific skills and techniques are open to change and evolution over time, the basics have remained the same and will provide all levels of tacticians with the needed foundation for present and future success.

Key Course Topics:

  • Advanced Marksmanship: Fine-tune your marksmanship skills with an emphasis on precision, rapid target acquisition, and shooting under pressure.

  • Dynamic Shooting Drills: Engage in dynamic drills that simulate real-life scenarios,

  • Speed and Efficiency: Learn techniques to improve your draw speed, reload, and shot-to-shot times while maintaining accuracy.

  • One-handed shooting: Practice shooting with your dominant and non-dominant hand, preparing for situations where one hand may be incapacitated.

  • Scenario-Based Training: Participate in scenario-based training that challenges decision-making, situational awareness, and threat assessment.

  • Legal and Ethical Considerations: Delve deeper into the legal and ethical aspects of self-defense with a focus on understanding the use of force laws and the aftermath of a self-defense incident.

Course Format:

Our Fundamentals Level I Pistol & Rifle courses combines classroom instruction with live-fire drills on a static range. Participants will need to bring their own pistol, holster, ammunition, and safety gear.

Prerequisites:

To enroll in the Fundamentals Level I course, participants must have a solid foundation in firearm handling. They should be proficient and able to demonstrate safe gun-handling skills.
